Just wanted to let everyone in Toronto know that here in Vancouver we're all thinking of ya.

The temperature in T.O is suppose to get down to -10°C tonight, but...with wind chill a frosty -20°C!! I hope Santa brings his sun screen!!

Here in Vancouver we're sitting at 7°C, although tonight will get down to a blood freezing 5°C

Merry Christmas

Haha, well let me just say from the Tdot that at least us non West Coasters can handle a real winter!! It was -33 Celcius here and WE LOVED IT... ok maybe that's a little bit of a stretch but either way... we like it cold... get some awesome snow and pack back some pints like true Canadians!

I like it when I have the option of a 2 hour drive to go play in the snow

That and people from Vancouver don't know how to drive in the white stuff

I like my winters mild, thanks...
(I like my summers mild, for that matter, too!)

I'm quite happy with the PNW.. we see sub freezing temps only once in a while! (although people in Seattle also forget how to drive in the rain sometimes)

Well...I posted this last year in late December. Once again its that time of year when all good Canucks break out the dog sleds and rebuild our igloos.

But...this year I'm keeping the Toronto cold jokes to a minimum as I'll actually be in T dot at the end of January...and from what I'm told thats actually the coldest month of the year and I'm honestly a little bit scared. I've never been anywhere else but Vancouver during the winter...

This is cold?!? I challenge any of you to come down to Winnipeg for a winter's day...-20 with the windchill and we're in shorts and t-shirts (well, not really). Winter's not really winter if we don't get at least a couple -45 degree days with the wind chill. It's been snowing for 3 days straight, I'd say there's a good couple feet out there right now. 2005 had 4 months without snow this year (it was snowing as I left the Peg in May, and we had a little storm in October that quickly melted). Oh how I love my city!!

Haha! Last night I was in Toronto in a bar MADE OF ICE where they give you parkas and you sit on fluffy cushions with ice all around... we had a buddy from Kansas City and he was like YOU CANADIANS ARE NUTS. I was wearing strappy sandal shoes and he really thought I was insane. Pin babe, maybe if you're lucky I'll take you to the ice bar. Show you some real cold!

P.S. I'll post pictures and if you think I'm joking look it up... it's C Lounge, ICE lounge Toronto Ontario!
