Hey whats up everyone? I just arrived in London earlier today and have to sit here till 6:35am the next day to catch a flight to Rome. I'm planning on traveling around Europe at least till next July. I have a place to stay in Rome for a couple weeks and then after that i'm not sure what to do. I am open for any suggestions on ideas or if anyone knows of any places i might find work.
Another option i have started to explore is volunteer work in Africa, but they all seem to want a hefty sack of money for you to go "volunteer".
If anyone is going to be in Rome from starting the 9th of December, I'm looking to meet some people along my travels.
Happy travels to all.
Adam

I know what you mean about paying to volunteer. I have looked into some of those programs and am hoping to volunteer in S. America next summer if I can get the $ together.
Well, the only suggestion I have for now money wise is if it gets tight, you could just go to Africa anyway, volunteer or no volunteer, job or no job, b/c it's so much cheaper there. I've been to Morocco and Egypt and could try to give you some advice. A flight to Egypt might be kind of expensive from Europe, I don't know, but once you're there you're golden. If you get to Spain, the ferry to Morocco is not that expensive. I would estimate you have at least 6x the spending power in both of these countries; it's unreal.

Nothing's stopping you from going from Italy to Africa, but I say while in Europe, see some of that. Take some time, smell the roses...see Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal...
