i just registered with the workaway site and recieved an email back from a lady who lives in the andalucia region. in all likely hood i will take the job, but i was wondering what this region is like? any help would be nice

oh man! I've been to Valencia which is *almost* Andalucia, but not quite. SO jealous! You're going to have a great time!
There are a lot of members who have been to that area and will tell you that it's wonderful. Try to visit the Alhambra in Granada and I've heard that Sevilla is a beautiful city.

Yup, it is wonderful just like SV says....amazing food, people, countryside, everything.....Where exactly? I was in that region, more specifically, Granada, Malaga and Seville this summer..my favorites were Granada and Seville

Beautiful and really varied - the olive trees stretching for miles inland, and the beautiful beaches in the south... If you're there at Easter, be sure to check out the famous processions (most at night, during the day on Easter Sunday) during Semana Santa...
Andalusia is renowned throughout the country for these processions, and they're televised throughout the region.
