hey people. i was just wondering who on here lives in texas. i'm in the dallas/ft. worth area and i know that voyd lives in waco (or wacko ) but i was just wondering if there's anyone else. i've been trying to make it down to louisiana for awhile now (i have lots of family there but don't want to travel alone) and my friends are driving me nuts with "uh, well, maybe i can go, uh, i don't know...." bastards. anyway, just thougt i'd make an attempt to find some local people who actually commit to travel plans

I have family in Baton Rouge also, I'm actually going to be down there in two or three weeks but I'll be there to get my wisdom teeth out.

In the spring I'll be back down there for a while again and will be making a bunch of camping trips down to Grand Isle.

I split my time between Dallas and Denton these days. I am trying to go to Austin sometime in November. Austin has to be the best city in Texas.

Austin rocks my world. I hang out at a dirty smoking bar with tattooed pierced people and make friends with the hoboes. Apparently sixth street is a great place to party, but I only go on halloween and I don't *really* party that much anyway. I do go downtown for the indy theatre, and with my best friend to see live music. She takes me to see weird bands, I take her to see movies. It works... anyway.. I think austin is where people go if they want to be weirdos and dont want to leave texas. For instance, Leslie the Tranvestite Hobo runs for mayor every election. http://austintexas420.tripod.com/leslie-co...n/pictures.html
We have t-shirts that say "Keep Austin Weird"... Its a campaign to support local business, but I like the shirts anyway...

Forgot to say, if anyone comes to Austin, just tell me ahead of time and we'll paint the town red. I can't go to bars, but I have plenty of liquor all the time and I generally take it and drink it the hookah bar anyway. Quite fun. There's always plenty to do in Austin.
