we did infact get the pleasure to stay at barnecals which is right next to temple bar, STAY HERE for 9 euro and its a great place very professional and it was the BEST

Barnacles is awesome!
I've also been told to stay away from the Brewery hostel, over by the Guinness plant, as it's full of cracked out freaks as well... 'course, that's hearsay

Brewery was actually a pretty decent place. The beds are comfy, the staff was nice (cept the weird nite dude) and the overall feel was the most comfy of the 5 I stayed in in Europe.

I think i stayed at Backpackers once - i was pretty drunk whe ni arrived back, so did`nt notice anything out of the ordinary. And i was still very much asleep when the cleaner lady burst into the room in the morning and grabbed the sheets off me.
Barnacles does rule, but its kind of cramped i thought - Kinlay House just around the corner on dame street/christ church is where i stay always though - it rules!
