i hear that. i am pretty gung-ho on keeping my luggage to carry-on, but i'm thinking i might give it up and check 'er just so i can pack a Swiss Army Knife. It'll come in handy way too much not to get one.
Crio, you can always buy a cheap one there. If you do check in your pack, un-attach your daypack with all of your valuables and carry that on. But, i´m sure that you already knew that
no mention of swiss army knives. I suppose it´s a safe bet to throw those in with your check-in luggage.
