OH! while there is a 'totally random question' post, i have my own....
does anyone remember the post about that guy who traveled around the world and didn't spend a single dime. he had a website that people posted on to host him at their houses and in return he would write a story about his stay and publish pictures of the people he stayed with. he also got all this sponsorship from airlines and cell phone providers. anyone know what i'm talking about?

I don't know if this is what you're talking about, but awhile back I posted about www.thesavagefiles.com
He hitchhikes everywhere and stays with people that put him up, and has sponsors too I think.

Sorry, been in Oman for a couple of days-it was awesome!
Yeah, as I said the question was incredibly random and I apologise for the fact that I cant remember anything about it-thanks for all the suggestions, and I kinda forgot about the rest of the TP site which is probably gonna have the answers to all of my questions-TP is a legend
