Alright, so ScarlotteDorian clued me in to travelpunk awhile back and I have been checking it out and now hove a little time to finally get some posts out. Like her, I am restless to move! Fortuntely, I am moving in two weeks!

Anyhow...I love this place and can't believe I didn't find it on my own.

I guess I am nomadic by design. I grew up in a military family. We settled in Louisiana when I was young and then at 16 I took the first chance to get the hell out of there. Went to Canada for a year, then on to Malta. I lived in southern Europe for 5 years traveling all over. So I hiked all over southern Europe ~ it was heaven.

Since returning to the US I have moved 7 times and lived in 3 different states. I am presently moving again, out of North Dakota (yeah, don't even ask how I ended up here). So its on to Chi-town for a month or so and then down to Belize. I'll be living and working there and traveling all over Central America and back to Chicago every chance I get. I'll most probably be there for a year or two.

Backpacking/hiking and photography are my other passions...that is other than my work, which is people. I am always looking for what is to come ~ the next photo to take, the next trail to hike, the next person's story. I relish that stuff! On the other hand, I also feel I am at the point in my life where each is is more or less a good day because all the little pieces (and a few big ones) have come together and I am where I want to be (inside at least).

Oh, and on a final note...I am half Irish, so i love to drink

...and I'm half British, so I love to goof off

Yeah, everwhere else! Seriously, lots of places. I hit a good portion of Europe, spending considerable amounts of time in Malta, Italy, Spain, Portugal, England & Germany. Only place I have been in Africa is Lybia, and well I didn't really go there...but thats a whole story. I've never been to Asia or the Middle East. We'll most certainly meet up for a drink
