I was wondering if there are any kind of grants you can get from the government for travels? I thought I read a while ago about someone saying that there was. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
There are grants you can get for research that allow you to travel. I am sure you can find out more information by just checking the web or your local library.
BUT, what I have seen in some previous messages on the site are people who are looking to get travel grants thinking that you can just travel with free money from the government. This is not going to happen. First, in order to get a grant, I am sure that you will have to show that you have previous research experience in the field.
It does worry me that some people on here are looking to scam the government for these travel grants. This can only hurt people who are rightfully using these for research.
