Hey all, my name is Alex and I am just posting to say thanks. I've actually been reading these boards for the last month or so and I decided that it is finally my time to say thank you. I am leaving this evening to go backpacking through Western Europe for only 4 weeks. I am going with my buddy, we both just graduated highschool- my parents are paying for this excursion as a graduation present.
I just wanted to say thank you for giving such great advice and assisting me in preparing for this trip. I am going to post again while I am backpacking to give you guys a lil idea of what's going on. I'll also make sure to include pictures  - anyhoo, I wish you all the best and hope you all enjoy this summer!
Oh and btw, I just thought I should say this: I AM SO EXCITED BECAUSE I AM VERY VERY GOODLOOKING AND I AM GOING TO GET LOTS OF ASS!

the other thing that occurred to me was "be careful what you wish for..." because you could end up surrounded by donkeys in a village somewhere with no female homo sapiens around.  (and good one, kyle! haha)

Hey all...
I am right now in Amsterdam staying in a hostel called Amsterdam Hospitality. Very very nice lots of fun; it's a new hostel with great staff. A bunch of young guys that are very efficient and make sure that you enjoy your stay. I guess I'll add this to the hostel part of the website.
Anyway, I did bring my camera with me but I forgot to bring my adaptor to upload pix on to the computer. As a result I am going to give you guys the link to my picture here, however, I am now very nervous. I have a feeling this is going to result in my demise!
