I am flighing from LAX to Heathrow on Air New Zealand...
Its a direct flight, and I arrive at 11:00 am.
I need to get from Heathrow to Stamstead, to catch a flight on Ryanair to Rome
My Ryanair flight is at 3:10 (15:10)
Am i going to be able to get through customs, get a shuttle to Stamstead and have time to check in for my flight???
Ryanair says you have to show up at least 45 minutes before your flight...
Advise PLEASE!!!!

Okay. Don't freak out, here's what you're going to need to do (but keep in mind it's going to cost you about 30 pounds):
When you go through customs at Heathrow, take the Heathrow Express train, here is a link to Paddington Station in central London. There are signs pointing to it everywhere as you leave customs. Do take this instead of the tube or the bus because the journey is only about 15 minutes, whereas the tube & bus will take *at least* an hour.
When you get to Paddington Station, look at the Tube map-- or better yet, check it out here in advance to get yourself over to Liverpool Station. When you get to Liverpool, you are going to hop on the Stansted Express train, click here. That journey will take about 45 minutes. You should get there in time to get in line to check in for your flight.
Good luck!!! B)

You left yourself with p-l-e-n-t-y of time!
It took me about two hours, if I remember right, to do the Tube & Rail combination. I was able to buy my ticket for both as a combination at the Heathrow tube station. And use a credit card...!
And just to prove everything doesn't always work out, on the way back, the tube was closed to Heathrow for the day. I took the airlink bus, or whatever it is, direct from my easyjet airport (Luton?) to Heathrow. More expensive, but took roughly the same amount of time, perhaps a bit less.
Relax, take the tube back out of town...and go back on your busy day! Sorry for the Who song reference!
