So trying to do research for my trip, and was wondering, if any of you during your travels, saw some out of the way surf breaks and thought "Wow, those are some good waves"? Any surfers on this forum that know some good spots in Europe? Just want to surf as many countries as possible. Offer still up, if anyone wants tomeet up for a surf lesson, trade you for a few pints and a conversation.

Ive heard that there are some quite nice breaks on the Atlantic coast of Spain, but you should probably check up on that info before spending shedloads of money getting over there. You're going for a year right? What are you planning for the whole trip? (sorry if that question is huge)

No worries,Punter, about the broad question. I'm doing a gang of research right now, and yes, Spain is totally a place I'm hitting. What am I doing for a year? Well, surfing and diving the world, actually...or at least I'm going to try my damndest to do it. I've got friends in England, Wales, Ireland, Sweden and Spain, so I can save a bit of cash there, and figure I can always wing it elsewhere. Have done it before, I can do it again. If I can surf at least 3 waves per country, minimum, then I can move on, though I don't want to rush it..if I find a great place, or meet some cool folk, or, heaven forbid, fall in love...well, I have no problem hanging about for some time...know what I mean? Want to shoot, both still, and video, this whole trip, and I have a few magazines interested in the story, though that isn't why I'm doing it...I just want the memories and the experience. Everyone here thinks I'm just totally nuts, except for my parents, who think I should go balls to the wall. Eh, never have listened to what everyone els thinks. Anyways, what I'm planning on doing...well, just living life, and if I can earn a bit of cash while I'm at it...well, no complaints here!
