The Love Parade

I was thinking about hitting up the Love Parade in Berlin. I believe its on the 13-15th of JulY....a three day raving and partying festival with approximately 1,000,000 people....mostly college students......

Anyone else consider this?

Yes, i came across that in my Frommers book and the timing looks about right for me to be in Berlin then, i was considering it.

it sounds absolutely spectacular.......the roads in the center of berlin are closed down...techno everywhere....glowsitcks everywhere...people running around naked....absolute mayhem!!!

That would be 3 days of staying up partying and another 1 1/2 to recover from the experience haha....

Actually, the Loveparade is cancelled for this year.

Kind of a letdown, even thought I hadn't planned on going.

They have them in other cities in Europe though, throughout the summer, so you can still get your outdoor, mid-day rave action on if you so please. I was thinking of going to the one in Zurich, Switzerland on August 7th.
