Exchange Program-Italy

I don't know anything really about exchange programs...Found this site though and it seems pretty informative, 'less you've found it already. Anyway have a gander if you wish. Sorry I can't tell you anything.

Also, not sure if you're in high school or college, but talk to your foreign language teacher/department, counselor/advisor, career development office, librarian. they should be able to give you some resources, if not actually mediate an exchange program for you - most schools nowadays have exchange programs... does this apply to you?

If you like kids being an aupaur is an option. I am am one now in Northern Italy for the summer. I am working with 2 kids helping them with English. I am getting 75 euros a week plus room and board. It is a challenging but cool expierence just make usre you ask the family lots of specific questions about your daily schedule, your room, expectaions and travel time. It is an awesome way to go if you like kids and can be a part of a family that is not your own.

Hey, Im an aupair in northern italy....what city are you in? Im near Cuneo
I am leaving to go travel on friday though, I cant fricken believe it, SONO LIBERA!!!! Ive been here 6 months.
You arent lying about aupairing being a challenge, but this experience has been TOTALLY worth it for me. I work with 2 kids too. Living with a different family is a fricken challenge. The kids can be little hellions, etc etc etc. but yeah its been cool. I would recomend it to someone but I would make sure that that someone didnt know where I sleep cause when they hit the rough period they would probably come after me and try to kill me for recomending it.
I say definately find out if the fam will give you time off for travel, find out your hours and pay and what your responsibilities are. And then forget everything they said cause its all different when you arrive hahahahaha
