I always l to have advil liquid gel caps (extra strength), neosporin or some type of an antibiotic cream and something against itching. You'd be surprised at the poison ivy. And besides bandages and all that stuff, it never hurts to have prescription painkillers, although its not a recreational thing for me, fillings falling out and injuries are like murphy's law it seems, somehow it always happens while abroad. Instead of Pepto, you might want to get some of those chewy thingies, it saves you space, you can carry it on you, except I don't get upset stomach or heartburn so what do I know. This may not be a concern, but as far as my list of drugs, a morning after pill can't be bad to have just in case. S***always happens when you least expect it. Happy travels!

Pepto Bismol is a (somewhat nasty tasting) pink liquid that you take if you have an upset stomach, heartburn, etc. - its a good all purpose stomach calmer. They do have Pepto chewable tablets that are much more pack friendly which work the same.

hey, that morning after pill is a great idea for single backpacking, ahem... ladies.
speaking of those things... anyone taken them? i did once... the morning after i lost my virginity - it worked perfectly, but it made me so fucking sick... crazy crazy sick. in case any of you didn't know how they work - they just prescribe you an overdose of standard birth control pills, yuk! whatever it takes, i guess...
really though - kudos, chana.... smart idea.
