With 5 weeks and 1 day to go I can't shake the feeling that I am procrastinating or putting something off. I s'pose I could spend more time researching potential stops on line....I still have to divy up my funds between my pre-paid credit cards.....I coul have an extra lock or pants by now.....I don't know, it's just driving me nuts! Is this a common feeling as the big tripdraws near? It's almost as if time spent not contimplating my trip or making sure every loose end is tied leaves me feeling guilty? It's and odd sensation.....Oh well...5 weeks, 1 day....wow.

craig -
I'm rounding up on 3 weeks till my trip and I had my frist "freak out" about a week ago. I felt the same way, worrying about being too last minute.
One thing that helped me is to set out a list of EVERYTHING you still need for your trip and then set out a timeline of when they have to be done by (when you need to have your cards set up, finish getting your clothes together). This kind of made me realize I had a bit more time then I originally thought and helps with organization.
Now I'm just nervous, excited and scared lol

This little bloke sitting here typing this is in the same boat as you guys...
Ive had a list going on my computer since november of last year, and just been crossing things off as i go. But cuz there hasnt be just 'one' time where ive gone out and bought a heap of stuff, it seems like i havent done anything, whereas in reality everything is just fine.
Just under 3 weeks till i leave, and really the only things left to do are photocopy some stuff, and buy some toiletries, all of which ive decided to leave to the last week. Still, i sit here thinking that i could be doing more, worrying that im not going to get something done.
Good luck guys with everything.

I'm leaving in 2 days and I'll be gone for 11 weeks. I haven't even packed my bag yet (but I think I HAVE everything I need) and I still have to graduate from college tomorrow and move home. Ehh...I'll be fine.

I would say you guys are all doin' REALLY well. I am on exchange in Japan for a year and I literally packed the day before I left for the airport!! I had my lists and those are a big "hell yes". Just don't worry, make sure you have the important things(ie passport, cards, etc), worse comes to worse you get to go shopping!!!

I am feeling that way and I have almost three months to go. We're packing up everything so I have a lot of stuff to do in May. I still feel like there's 8 million things I need to be doing right now... Sighh....
