Would you do this/have you done this on a gap year?
My little sister has just started her final year of school and next year she wants to do some travelling. However she's been looking at this company Sport Lived: Gap years abroad, gap year experiences, gap year out and is thinking about doing a tennis programme with them and some travelling around it.
She's good at tennis, but no pro. I'm just not sure if it'll be worth the time and money and she might regret not having spent more time seeing the world...
Does anyone know anything more about these programmes? I know it's her choice and maybe I shouldn't be interfering but she's getting all excited about doing this with very little knowledge about what it's actually like.
I'm from England, where Sport Lived is based, a few of my friends have been on their programmes and had amazing times! They were all totally different abilities but all loved their time over there and got a lot of time to play whilst there. They did 'playing' programmes so had a load of time spare to go travelling and see all that Australia had to offer in-between the playing sports and going to socials! They also did travelling after their Sport Lived programme finished.
