New Guy
Helle everyone,
I'm new here to the boards, wanted to say hi. I'm joining because I love traveling and am beginning to plan a long trip for next summer. The problem is I can't decide where because I can pretty much choose anywhere (I have no restrictions). My choice this week is Italy, Czech, Croatia, Bulgaria; but I am open to recommendations and discussions.
Thanks

I know you said you have no restrictions but if you mention time tables, budget, desires, etc. you'll get a lot more responses.
Out of your country list I've only been to the first two but they were two of my favorites. I've been working on going to Croatia for almost 10 years and am too late for it to be not tourist over-run but oh well. So since you're in the region I have to ask: why Bulgaria? Is there a family tie? Because Romania, Hungary, and Turkey are right next door (and Greece obviously) so it's an interesting choice.
Anywho, the more specifics you give, the more you can help. One of the hardest questions you can ask a group of travellers is, "Hey, I'm going to Europe, where should I go?"

I'm a teacher so it will be for up to two months next June, July, and August. My budget will probably be around 4000USD after plane tickets. As far as stuff I HAVE to see, I don't have anything on that list. I just like going to other places and exploring and experiencing what I can. I am thinking about Bulgaria because I have some friends there that I can stay with for a week or so to help with costs plus I will have not seen them for about a year.
Originally I was thinking about Bhutan or somewhere very remote, however like I said I have changed my mind several times. It is a hard decision to decide "If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?"
