is this a good ticket price? JFK-LHR
I am looking at tickets for approximately early-mid May thru early-mid August. There is an "Expedia bargain fare" that comes up for $635. Its a standby ticket so I wouldn't know what airline or what time I fly, but thats not a negative for me if I can get a good price.
I have no experience with summer airfare, so do u think this is a good price or should I wait for the summer sales to come out?

is this return or one way? Incl taxes or not? And what date is the stand by for? or does it matter?
You're still a student right? a quick check on student universe has a return ticket departing may 11, returning aug 18 for 606$.
Also, I would jump on a good price now. Summer airfare doesn't tend to get cheaper....

Roundtrip, includes taxes, and is for a weekday. The date doesn't really matter.
