I wanted to try to find a cool Frenchman/woman that can offer me some advice. I am headed over from my native city of Philadelphia on Sept 10th and staying for 10 days. My friend and I are landing in Paris, but renting a car and heading south right away. We are headed to Nice and Marseille, then maybe hop down to Barcelona for a few days. I am wondering if anyone can suggest a website or just hit me up with info about where a cool venue or bar is for us to catch some dope French hip-hop or indie rock music in general. Hit me up if you can lend a hand or want to meet up let me know… and we’ll be sure to buy you a pint for your time and help!

The only person I can think of that actually lives in France is Omid (username Omisan, you should probably send a PM if you want advice). And he's in Paris. I'm sure we've had some people visit the south though...
I met some Canadians in Marseille who said there was a bar there with musical instruments which people could go up and play...we never found it though.
