My Germany-Benelux and Czech Repupblic passes came in the mail today! I love flipping throught the rail schedule book imagining what time i'd catch a particular train out of one city to another. While i hate the process of buying airline tickets and rail passes (always worried about the best deal) i love plotting out adventures. Although honestly i think most of this will be done on the the fly...Or i'll just get lost and decide to stay at where ever I happen to wander off....man, this is so exciting. 2 months and counting, WOO HOO!
I agree, plus rail travel is really the most comfortable ever invented. You can get up and walk around -- which you can't do in a car. You have more room than in an airplane (unless you're in first or business class). Plus, you get to watch the scenery go by the window.
