Buy ahead of time?
So i'm going to Europe with my friend in a month. we'll be gone for about 28 days we'll be traveling all over, the uk, france, germany, czech rep. italy, and greece. we'll be taking trains and buses to get around but for our circumstances point to point tickets are cheaper than rail passes. my question is whether i should buy tickets for trains and ferries ahead of time or when i get to each city.

Weeelll, there's pros and cons to both I guess! If you're buying in advance, you can end up a bit restricted with when you can travel. But if you buy in advance (for trains, certainly) you can get some really good deals. It really depends on how set in stone you want your itinerary to be!

Also, for the trains, be sure to ask for reduced fares if you are under 26. They don't offer them up, but we saved money on point to point tickets by asking for this!
