Either I dont 'taste' good anymore, or mosquitos have left Indiana. But I haven't gotten bitten what seems like 2 summers now.

DEET is dangerous stuff, but can be a life saver. I'm sure if you hit up a decent sized natural foods/general store, you'll find alternatives.

HOLY CRAP YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THAT.

When me and my girlfriend went to Cuba for a week, we stayed that this resort that was (stupidly) built right over a swamp. I've never seen a place so infested with mosquitos!!! On the first night, she got 89 bites!! No joke! The next few days, the reaction was so bad, that she had to get this huge anti-allergy shot on her butt (which was kinda funny), but damn those mosquitos!!!

So glad that mosquitoes don't like me....

(nor does poison oak/ivy/sumac)

All I have to do is be with a traveling partner - the bugs avoid me and head straight for my buddy...

They shredded us on the Inca Trail this past week. The whole group got bitten like crazy...I´m still scratching, and we´ve been off the trail for almost 5 days now! Now, I remember why I´m not the biggest camping fan...

Move to Austin...we have a few million bats living under the Congress Street bridge. Every night they all fly out in a huge black cloud (a tourist attraction actually) and eat all the insects!

You barely even need screens, except then the geckos would get in :D
