thanks everyone... well i worked for carnival in the entertainment department.... I was a social host.. if anyone has been on a cruise they would know what that is... it is the same as cruise staff on other lines. I basically hosted different shows and events around the ship and had fun.... it was great... but time for a change.

I got it by appling over and over and over agian... it was a great year and a half... meet tones of peeps that i can visit on my world travels.... i would suggest it to anyone that like to meet people and have a good time...

ED - WELCOME!! So you were a social host?? Very cool. I went on a Carnival Cruise a few years back on the Destiny. It was a lot of fun (much more fun that I expected, actually)...way more food then I needed too ha, ha. You gotta love a vacation where there is someone with a beverage tray within five feet of you almost every where you go. Anyway....Welcome Aboard!

Hi Ed, I haven't read all the responses...so you may have answered this already..but would you recommend working on a cruise ship to others? Did you find it hard living and working with the same people? Do you have any sort of education in toursims or??? just expereince.????
