So I've heard a great deal of Skype, and will probably try that. Regardless, didn't know if there was any better deals. It costs 21 cents a minute to phone a mobile in Australia.
Didn't know if there were any better deals. I have my own phone here, so pay phone surcharges wont matter.

Are you trying to find a way for people in the US to call you? You could buy an Oz number for them w/ skype. There's various pricing schemes but it looks like you'll pay about 60$ per year. Or if you're trying to call the states you could buy a US number.
Yeah, trying to call Australia from the U.S. for now. But will be the opposite in the future.

Onesuite is another option...19 cents to a mobile phone there. But only 3 cents to a landline, perhaps you could schedule a time and have them borrow someone's landline.
