Hello everyone
Hey everybody! I'm pretty new on this site but it seems awesome to me. I'm leaving for my first backpacking trip in a bit over a week so I've been psyching myself up for it. I'm really looking forward to it but in all honesty 2 months solo around Europe is still a little daunting. Judging from all the different stories I've been reading on here though I don't think I have much to worry about! It seems almost impossible not to have a good time.

Hey!!! Welcome to Tpunk! Leaving in a week for 2 months - super jealous. So, where all are you heading too?

I fly into London and then I am flying into Madrid and catching a train for San Fermin. After that I'm heading around Spain and then a whirlwind tour through southern France, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Germany and the Netherlands before heading back to London for my flight out.

I don't have one but I was thinking I would get one of the free ones in a few days and figure out how to use it.

Welcome to the boards!
Keep us updated on your trip - those of us who are stuck at home need to live vicariously through others until they can travel themselves! :D

There are blogs on travelpunk, you could join in. They are brand new, so you could be among the first tpunks to write down their journey abroad. If you want to try, see here. They are easy to use, and you can add pictures, videos, etc.
Also see the gallery, and fill it up with your images !
