congrats babe! Isn't it funny though! You talk about your trip and then when you finally buy the ticket it's like Holy SH!T this is really happening! I'm really going. yahooooo I'm happy for you.

I've bought my ticket but it's still sitting in my travel agents office. But when I do get it I'll look at it and realize that the stupid thing cost me $2000! argh.

I'm sure this is what it is going to be like for me too. Once you get that ticket, you can't not go.

Congrats Tecia, there is no turning back!

Yeayyy for Tecia! I´m so happy for you! The all important thing to being a traveler is not being afraid to take that first step. There will always be excuses or reasons NOT to go...you have to plow through them. Don´t listen to that little voice of worry telling you to go some other time.

i had to pick up my ticket at fed ex (because they never deliver when they are supposed to). when i got back into my car it was a whirlwind of emotion - i cried, i woohooed, i laughed... to see it all in print was quite a trip. especially when i saw my departure date of may 17 and my return date of nov 22. 6 months?!?! i'm really doing this!!! holy sh*t!!!

ash - not bad, especially since it's open-ended and in the middle of tourist-season. if it's non-stop, that's even better.

Yeah, got my ticket the other day, and im like shit, i still have to quit my job...

Thats going to be tuff...

Going to let my boss know next friday nigh so that i can go straight home and get drunk and then have 2 days to think about monday...

I think the smaller the company you work 4, the harder it is to leave.

But, im just going to tell him i have the opportunity to go and work abroad and im going to take it. This job i can do for the rest of my life, working abroad is something i have to in the next 3-4 years.

Right?
