Where are you going? Its hard or impossible some places, easy in others.

As per your second question, yes its true, although I'd say not all that common. But its easy to chat it up a bit and have plenty of people to travel with, again depending on where you are.

i found a job almost immediately - there's always plenty of work going in hospitality, it's a bonus if you get paid cash in hand too!

Default travelling aus---melbourne

hey guys!
well, i kinda have the same question as fightyrdemons, i'm going to melbourne on february, and i am going to have to work to live. I'm worried that it wont be easy to get a job there coz i figure summertime is going to be almost over by then, and there's just not going so mnay jobs left??? (that's just what i think, i dunno...) besides i won't have a working visa, so I dont know if anyone would hire me... I was also wondering about the pay, like do they pay by the hour? and how much? (approx). This will be my first time travelling by myself without any kind of academic arrangements, so I'm concerned and very very veeeeeeeeeeery excited. thanx!!!!!
