Howcommon is wifi in hostels?

I wasjust wondering how common it is for there to be wifi in hostels in australia?

free internet is common at hostels, free wifi is not really that common...not in my experiences anyway...

even in cafes etc. it is hard to get - if you wanted free wifi, i suggest checking out Gloria Jeans (only certain ones have them)...

obviously in the cities there is a better chance of stumbling upon free wifi... but at the places i've stayed at, there's only been computers with the internet...

the upscale (ie not the cheapest but around the middle priced) hostels have wifi a plenty.

When I was in OZ the amount of people that spent their nights in their bunks with the laptop out was so sad...
