Hi!
hey everyone. randomly found this site and thought it was pretty cool so I thought i'd say hello and introduce myself. im a 20 year old student
living in central london and i absolutely love to travel. I think that there is so much of the world out there and
there is far too much to see to just sit in one place for the rest of ur life. Ive been to fair few places but early
07 I did my first solo trip and went to America, India, Pakistan (loved the northern areas) and Dubai. Next year I
plan on going to Thailand. Cant wait. I'm a really friendly person and absolutely love meetin new people so any wanderers heading to London,
feel free to look me up for a pint!

Welcome to the Travel Punk family! And yup, I too thought you were 'Merican based on that name, but still it is nice to have someone with a little blue in their flag.
( <-maybe the leaf should be blue? Or maybe the leaf could be chopped up into 50 equally sized pieces! Just something to think about... )
You went to the US and India and Pakistan? Was that part of the same trip? We'd love to hear about any of those but especially India and Pakistan since we have only had three members hit those up

Aww haha thank u so much for the lil flag thing. made me giggle. Yup all the same trip. India was amazing.. cheesey to say but it really changed me. But the place that totally blew my mind was a place called Kalash.. In the nothern areas of Pakistan. Its iced off in the winters and its really high up in in the mountains.. but its beautiful. No electricity in most areas there. Just rivers and streams and mountains and its just.. amazin. never seen so many stars in my life. and old greek culture. little hidden paradise. lol. oh and everything is backwards there. men stay home with kids. women work.. (work is making wine). everynight they have a party with the wine and drums and dancing. they celebrate when someone dies cos they believe that birth brings joy and happiness, and that death should be the same. they only recently started burying the dead, they just use to put them in these wooden boxes with all their money and jewellry. ahh sorry im gushing away. haha got a bit carried away..
