Anybody here having second thoughts on that dolphin or ying yang (circa 1995) they had permanently etched into their body in high school? It seemed like a good idea at the time....

I got 4 tats between the ages of 15 and 19, I didn't get something I would regret, ( like a friends of mine who got the red hot chilli pepers symbol from 1993)
I do not regret mine, and after all these years I think I need to get them touched up...

I know a girl that has a FULL tattoo of Goofy (yes, goofy the dog) on her leg. It covers up her whole thigh *laugh*
She's gotta be regretting THAT one.
I used to want a huge tattoo of a sun on my back...now, Im glad I didnt do it I dont even want to imagine what it would look like today

Goofy? Ohhhh sorry about her luck. I have to confess that I don't actually have any tattoos myself but I did date a guy who actually has bugs bunny on his butt. Over the weekend I was thinking of my friends in high school who all ran out and are now stuck with cliche butterflys, dolphins and suns/moons that were the big trend back then. Anybody out there that actually has an ex's name tattooed on them?

I got a tattoo on my 18th birthday, basically just because I could. I'm about to turn 22 and I still don't regret it. It's fairly small and on my lower back, so it's not very obvious unless I want it to be! I have been thinking about getting another one but there's really no where else I'd want to put it! I do know plenty of people who regret getting one though-I think it depends on what kind of design it is, and where it is.

I've yet to get one, but I will one day when I figure out what it is I want. My buddy and his cousin have a symbol for brotherhood tatooed on their chest. I used to work with a guy that had the Hot Wheels logo tatooed on the back of his neck, but he was a hot wheels fanatic. He had also gotten his wifes name tatooed on his ring finger, but after they divroced he just had it blacked in. I have a girl friend that has a dolphin on her thigh, and a couple others. So far, besides the wife name, none of them regret theirs. Oh yeah, and my buddy with a bear on his upper arm, and my other buddy with a huge dragon on his entire right arm, all in color. He doesn't regret it either, of course he also has his junk pierced so I don't know if he is trustworthy.

note the space between girl and friend.. that states it is a friend who is a girl. I didn't want any assuming of a guy friend with a dolphin on his thigh. Just had to clarify things. I have no girlfriends.... they cause trouble. I don't need any more trouble then I already cause myself right now. So the single way is the right way for now.

siju, for you, and anyone else with a brain - it's probably the right way forever.
i just don't think the human animal was meant to be monogomous.
i do believe in karma though, so i limit myself to textual infidelity at most- hahahhah!

I have no problem being monogamous... I actually prefer it. (I know I have let down the men of the site) But most women are just trouble makers. When I find the one, I'll be set.
In the words of Beanie from Old School, "You get one v*gina for the rest of your life, real smart, way to work it through."
Even though I have been screwed over, I still have faith that there is one out there.

Stupid thing posting twice... it makes me think of catching the early flight home and finding a couple of nude people coming out of your bathroom ready to tag team your girlfriend.

please don't mistake me, i have no problem being monogomous either, if these past 4 years count for anything - but, even still - i don't think it's a natural tendency... we struggle and fight against ourselves, that's all. well - maybe i speak for myself

I don't know, I feel very little struggle to stay monogomous. I'm just strange though. I don't claim to ever be normal.

I may find someone attractive, but I don't desire things with them. I tend to be very simple.
