I am currently trying to contact host familes in Europe through helpx.net. I've written a few e-mails but haven't had any replies. Could this be because my e-mail provider isn't compatable with other e-mail services? I use the free e-mail offered by "antiracistaction.com". What FREE e-mail provider is generally compatable with European e-mail users? Hotmail? Yahoo!? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

e-mail is compatable with any e-mail server. Doesn't matter if its hotmail, Outlook or yahoo.
How long ago did you send you first e-mail?
I'd just sit tight and wait.

Email is Email no matter where you are...Just be youy are clear in the subject line that what your sending is not SPAM, and that your email address is not
PsycoPathJoe18@hotmail.com, that might cause them to not email you back. Keep you email address as professional as possible.

hey dripdd - welcome...i'm guessing your e-mail address reads [name of choice]@antiracistaction.com - if so, even though anti-racism is certainly a good cause, with language/cultural barriers between you and your potential houseparents, i think an @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com address would be more palateable somehow.

Sorry to hear that!
Maybe next year if you're still planing on going you can jump on it earlier in the year and something will come up.
