Fellow Canadians will be happy to know that I was in Istanbul during Canada day.. and managed to sketch out the flag on a dinner menu and took a picture with fellow Canadian backpackers!!

Yup it's "Canada Day" technically it is the date of confederation... so Confederation Day could work as well... but what a great weekend!
