Default Amsterdam hotel for 5 d00ds 3 nights, suggestions wanted for ~$1000

Hi all, after some research on google maps, I came down to the following spots near the center of amsterdam. Has anyone stayed there before? We got a budget of ~$1000 total for either a quad or 2 twins. Any suggestions on where to stay would be great as well. http://www.oldquarter.com/Twin ~$400USD (~$800 2 rooms) http://www.singelhotel.nl/hotel.phpTwin ~$637USD (~$1300 2 rooms) http://www.terminus.nl/home.htmQuad: ~$878.080 http://www.greenhouse-effect.nl/hotel.html Quad ~$900USD Thanks all.

I would suggest passing on a hotel. Too expensive! We stayed at the flying pig downtown and had an awesome time.
There was two of us and we had a queensize bed for 38E a night. Between the two of us thats really cheap.
If you wanted your own room for the five of you it'd be about 33 Euros a night each.
So about 500 Euros for the three days for the five of you.
It could be alot cheaper if you stayed in a dorm with a bunch of people. But it also depend what time of year your going.

yeah, you'll just have to trust that you'll have a better time in a hostel. Believe me, it will make the party that amsterdam is in itself so much better.

Hostels rock because you have a better chance of getting others to tag along.

If you are geared toward a hotel another Tpunk recently recommended this...

Amsterdam cribs might be just what your looking for. It's apartments in a hostel way, looks class but I've never stayed there.
