Has anyone been to the Olympics before or know much about it? Is it possible to get tickets to events by just walking up the day of? Is there much going on around the Olympic village other than the events, like free activites and parties? I was thinking that since I am going to be in Europe this summer, I might try and go to the Athens games just for the hell of it. Is it mabye too expensive for someone backpacking without money to throw around on inflated prices?
Hey Som I went to the site and under the "tickets" option it gives you a pretty good layout. unfortunately i couldn't see whether or not you can just walk up and buy tickets. sorry, dude.
Thinking more about it now, I am guessing the Olympics will probably be out of my price range, no matter how cheap I try to be. Thanks for the link though.
