California Looove and Arizona Adventures
Here are the photos from my recent 12-day trip out west! I had a blast, met a whole bunch of cool people at the hostel in Santa Barbara, drank a good bit of California wine, drew tattoos on people's backs, met up with 5 tpunks in 12 days which has to be my personal record, saw lovely Phoenix (ahah) the Grand Canyon and made Jakers chauffer me around a lot, meandered down the Hollywood Walk of Fame, walked out on the Golden Gate Bridge and all that jazz. Enjoy! :D
Briefly in LA and mostly in Santa Barbara
Arizona with TheJake
San Fransisco and Hollywood, Los Angeles

Actually I did draw that, over the course of 2.5 beers with my trusty little gel pen. Thanks for thinking it's freaking amazing.

It was definitely suggested, although I would have drawn it way better if it was actually going on anyone permanently.

Thanks Jeanie! I've been meaning to start doing henna for ages now, but never got around to doing it. I also want to tattoo someone some day but I think I'm too nervous to do that.

Great pics. The tattoo is incredible! Is that supposed to be a phoenix? That is what it reminds me of.

That's pretty sweet! Did you paint that?
I've contemplated a phoenix tat for myself but...I don't know. I feel like they're kind of common.

Yep, I did. It's the top of a table I gave to a friend for her birthday.
I'm with you on not wanting to get a tattoo that's too "common"-- hence I will never sport any butterflies, angel wings, a boob rose or what I like to call ass antlers-- but you can always make something completely unique, and I don't think phoenixes are *too* common.
