I'm a stupid stupid head
Wow I am totally walking around reminding myself in amazement that yes I am in england, and I am not an aupair anymore, and this is real. Crazy. But I find a day is not quite complete without revelaing embarrassing things about oneself. I caught a plane from Amsterdam to Bristol yesterday. And... well... firstly I was overweight. I had thrown out so much crap and had a shoulder bag and 1 item of carry on luggage crammed full. But was still overweight with my backpack, which was absolutely stuffed to full capacity, almost as tall as me, and overbalancing me everytime I took a step so I was swaying this way and that. But they didn't care! They didn't even mention it, I just noticed the weight when I put it on the scales. So cheers easyjet. So when I was going through the security check, which at schipol is bizarrely right before your gate, way after passport control and stuff... firstly, I grabbed a bunch of ziplock bags. Sweet! But anyway, my bag goes through and they pull it to the side and ask me if I can open it. Um... okay... is there anything in particular wrong? "Oh,he just saw something he couldn't recognise..maybe a stanley knife or something" Oh shiiiiiiiit... I HOPE that isn't in there. But he was pulling stuff out, searching, and marvelling at how full it was... and.. well... he didn't find that. Oh no. There was just a WHOLE PACKET of stanley knife blades!!!! And that is why I am a stupid stupid head. And I didn't even get to hijack the plane or slit anyone's throats because then he confiscated them. It was a really nice pack too. Darn. And this is how you know you have a travelpunk addiction. Ah well, the internet is free at this library and I am just enjoying relaxing and being unemployed. And hearing english!

But this silly free computer doesn't like formatting my posts, and allowing paragraphs, and keeps coming up with errors.

all right lets pump this up to a full group confessional lol..
so today i almost paid $489 to get a dent fixed in a car i'd borrowed (honestly i'd touched it against a bumper trying to get out of a tight park-it hadn't even broken the paint)
had bawled my way home from getting the quote then pressed above it and it popped out- i shit u not! So whilst i was relieved i was sick with stress so so unnecessarily, u can't even tell now!

alright, well i'm a stupid stupid head because i have a history exam this afternoon that i haven't studied for at all and i was supposed to last night but instead decided to drink two bottles of red wine with my girlfriend, so now today i am both unstudied and slightly hungover. duh!
also, library internet access... free... i'm going to have to remember that next time i'm traveling!

That's so awesome Kiwi chick! SO now technically you have $489 to spend on yourself, right?
Oh man, these computers hate me. I can't even add smilies!
And Fedfe, good luck on the test. Pity it's history, it's harder to make stuff up in that subject then say, art, English or sociology.
And I am a stupid stupid head again because I had €700 in cash and nothing to do with it. I was carrying it around the airport yesterday, along with my two passports and various other less valuable stuff. Now I have £500 in cash, that is not much better, but I think I have figured out how to get it into my australian bank account now. Damn getting paid cash in hand. It's cool having a wad of cash but not very clever. AND I just realised I got completely screwed over on the exchange rate. Oh man..... this sucks
But on the plus side maybe I figured out the paragraph thing
