Default I leave Holland April 12!!

I just booked my tickets! I am so excited and terrified!! After 11.5 months living in the Netherlands, my date of departure has been confirmed and I have a flight to England on April 12. I visit my english rellies and dump most of my luggage then on April 18 head to Prague!
And that's where the plans end. Well, vaguely I'll do a loop through Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and finish in Poland. I would rather like to get a job in a hostel, I'm thinking Poland...no reason, just kind of a whim!
My 'only' constraint in money. When I am getting close to broke I am planning on heading to Dublin to get a job and work for a few months. In rather spend the money on travel and I don't need to go home until November or never so I don't need the ticket yet!this time I need save for a plane ticket home (and of course also hopefully some more travel time!) I could technically buy one now but hey, I'd
You would never guess from the vague stupidity of these plans, but I am actually an anal retentive control freak so this is basically freaking me right out!!!! Note the excessive punctuation in this post as an indication of my mental state!
Arrgghhhhh what happened to March? I only have 7 days of work left. Oh my god, this is really scary and sad! Leaving the family I live with, the kids... One part of my life ending, a new start.

Awesome! I wish I could go with you. I'm jealous. I know a lot of Polish people and they seem very interesting and friendly. I think working in a hostel in Poland would be a good idea.

Why aren't you gonna hit Romania while you are in the area? Easy train ride, and one of the better Easten european destination contries. Embrace and have fun girl!!!

Sounds pretty sweet. I'm thinking about hitting up Poland when I'm over there. Not entirely sure why either.

March went far too quick for my liking.

Damn you marc873! For mentioning Romania... I really want to go there too. Now I am sitting here looking up train prices and journey lengths etc for yet another country!!!
Polish people are indeed very lovely. Well, I will just stereotype the whole nation based on a few people I met in Paris over christmas. They were very cool.

Sounds like you are in for a fun trip! I'm gonna miss you in the Netherlands by about a month (end of May). Also sounds like you will have a less expensive trip by traveling in eastern Europe.

hee hee, a lady I work with is from Romania, and has only wonderful things to say, so I am extremely excited to get there in the next year. She did say to not waste much time in Bucharest! The surrounding small cities are far better, cheaper and safer! Let me know where you end up

Oh man, I am getting so nervous now. It's not like I'm going on vacation or something, I am actually leaving forever the place I have lived for 11 months, and the people I have lived with. It's really sad and scary and unbelieveable! Oh well, I suppose once I actually start travelling I will be too busy having fun!
But for the moment I'm doing all my 'lasts'... last time catching the bus to Harderwijk, last time seeing my German aupair friend, nearly my last day of work...
It's already april..... :D
