From Turkey to China by land?
I plan to get from Europe to China via Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, into China. Has anyone done something to this extent, and have anything to offer as far as advice. I am in the process of organizing my visa situation, so that is covered, but anything regarding any one of these countries I would be interested in hearing.

I am planning a very very similar trip for this summer. I am starting in Istanbul and plan to go through Iran (although Georgia and Azerbaijan are a backup if the Iranian visa doesn't come through), Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kygyzstan, China and then flying home from Hong Kong.
I'm going to spend 3 months doing to trip starting in June and now have an extensive knowledge of the visa process for each country, so if you need any help/info, let me know.
