I didn't know what you were talking about, had not seen his youtube video, and have never seen another thread about him.

That's awesome though... I envy people like that who think that stuff up in advance and follow through.

Yeah, I didn't know who this cat was either, but I am definately impressed with the wide variety of locations.

I just looked at his site and he lives in Seattle! Maybe we could convince him to join the NW Tpunk commune...

Yeah, I'm envious - I really need to find a sponsor to fund my travel addiction!

I'm not sure how it would work out, but maybe you could parlay your skill at blowing stuff up into some sort of sponsorship. Besides the military, I mean.

I've read some of his blogs and he seems like a jerk. Not to sounds biased or anything but I remember reading some of people's comment to him saying how it was an inspiration and stuff and he blew them off. I can't remember his exact words but I remember it made me kinda pissed.

Otherwise though, it would be awesome to have the chance. According to his site though he only had a day or so in each place...mainly to get the shot and then move on.

I know someone was talking about putting stickers around (similiar to EuroTrip) and stuff like that. I always make it a point to take a picture straddling something: i.e. a bull in Chicago w/ Tecia, a cannon in Santa Monica w/ Jeanie & Beth, a log in Seattle w/ Jen and Jeanie, and the Pikes Place pig in Seattle, etc.

I thought he was a bit "mean" too... besides, he only did it fot the picture itself and not for travelling. Or maybe I'm just mad at him casue in his post about Argentina he had nothing good to say... like he was here to take a picture, or in the way to take a picture and he could've cared less wether he was in Buenos Aires, Río or Caracas....

I did get the idea of taking pictures in a particular pose or something and make it like my "theme" for my travels.... too bad I still haven't come up with anything yet...
