I got a scholarship!!
YAY!!! I got a commonwealth scholarship for uni!
It covers about 3/4 of my tuition fees and as long as I keep getting good results, I will get it for the whole four years I'm there! That's gonna make it a hell of a lot easier to save for a trip to london at the end of this year... yayyy I'm so happy.... this is really good cause my course (design in fashion & textiles) is pretty expensive and involves a lot of buying materials, plus the cost of living in sydney instead of at home was gonna make it really hard to do. But now.... very very happy. :D

Congrats! :D Scholarships are lovely things - see if you can put it towards a study abroad program and then you're set to check out a new place! That's what I did - paid 500 bucks for my semester fees, spent three months in China and I got 12 bucks a day allowance, which I saved, which paid for a two-week trip to Vietnam after. Milk those uni funds while you can!

woah, major scare the other day, i was about to lose my scholarship before even getting the first payment! basically centrelink (the welfare, money giver outer kinda office in aus) are stupid and stingy and screwed up a lot of stuff, meaning the uni thought i was lying about my financial situation and said i no longer qualified!! aahhh!! luckily i was able to make centrelink fix it all up. so its all ok again. but that was not a fun day.

I got the same thing (year ago - I'm getting old). Work and play hard.
