Default France, Ireland, Scotland, England - Mini Trip

Hello!
I Am from England and was speaking with my boyfriend and we think that we want to go on a 3 week(ish) trip, which wont cost us too much, but a nice little experiance to add to our first trip to america this year.,

ANyways I'm not asking about boats/buses/Flights etc Just your advice on the countries bareing in mind we only want it to be a short little trip.We probably wont be driving but there is always the driving option as we can get boat trips to ireland and euro tunnel to france.

England - Maybe go down to cornwall/devon on the train or drive down, spend a day or two there then

France - Have been to Val D' Isere and Paris many a time. We may go back to paris but is there anywhere else you would recomend?

Ireland - Neither of us have never been to ireland, although I think some friends have been to dublin so can get a few hints about dublin. What is there to see/do in ireland?

Scotland - My experiance was gretna green a few years back for my brothers wedding, My boyfriend has been a couple of times but that was when we was a wee little boy so open again to anything in scotland. Was thinking of searching for the edinbourgh(sp??) comedy festival, edinbourough fringe or something right? Not sure what time of year that is or how much tickets are etc.

Would then either train or drive back down england stopping in a few places visit familyand friends

What do you think? I quite like the idea, of some people going to spain for 2 weeks holiday and we will be travelling again

Look forward to hearing Thoughts on the trip as a whole and for individual countries.

RaySen
xx

Hey! I Ireland you can go to Galway, I hear it's just beautiful... I'm plannig to go there on my trip. The West Coast is the most traditional Irish area and the view is supposed to be fantastic.

If you're planning to go to Cork, you can check out Blarney Castle, which is really close by. http://www.blarneycastle.ie/

I second Galway. I have praised Galway all over this board. It's a wonderful place with all the charms of a city and beautiful natural landscape. The people there are fantastic. The sites are romantic (perfect for a couple) and the time you will have there will be dreamlike and quite unforgettable...

That said, Florencia...will you be in Galway anytime soon? And I just checked out your profile and your birthday is the day after mine! Just thought that was kinda cool...
