The only place ive been in Europe for new years is Rome but that was when I was younger and with my parents so I dont really know anything about parties and stuff and I didnt notice anything huge happening but I would guess that any major city would be awesome for new years

I'm gonna be in Galway, Ireland this NYE. It's a very young and sociable city. I am also traveling solo and I know that I would just get overwhelmed in a big party scene like Edinburgh or Amsterdam. So, Galway tops my list this year.

I'm doing Berlin for NYE because it is an amazing city that knows how to party.

Any European city should be good, your bound to have a good time. The only reason I'd be against Madrid and Berlin is their so big it might be hard to pick somewhere to go but I don't know Madrid that well atall. Barcelona has that main street and the Spanish always know how to put on a good spectacle.
I'd go for Amsterdam but I just think that's a cool city, new years under the Efile tower would be class aswell. Amsterdam would probably have the most tourists at it though, making it easier to meet up with people.
These are all assumtions I've never been outside Galway for new years.
