Super 8 motel - International Drive

Stayed here for 21 nights, was the worst and most unpleasant experiance.
Changed rooms 4 times in 11 nights for various reason, all rooms are bug infested with cockroaches and ants, The staff, especialy those working the night shift, just didnt seem to care whenever we had a problem their only solutionwas to change rooms.
There is no security at night and there was alot of noice and rowdyness a few nights even the police where called one night.
The bathroom wasnt very clean and the shower would go from right temperature to scolding hot for no reason. .
Even when requested on a couple of occasions we still got no fridge and microwave in our rooms, the 24 hour coffee you read about isnt avaliable after 11ish in the morning and the reception main entrance is closed after 7.30 or 8 so you cant get to the main microwave or coffee machine in the evening.
The free continental breakfast is a joke, it is coffee and orange juice with a minute muffin.

Iwould never recomend this place to anyone. I am even making an official complaint and writting to the company.
The only thing the super 8 motel has going for it, is the location. BUT there are plenty of other cheapish places to stay on I-Drive near it. So I wouldn't even think about staying here again..

Eek! Sounds absolutely awful. 21 days would seem like an eternity in a place like that.

I googled the motel to find out where it was and came across your review along with 7 other bad ones on Yahoo. The word is spreading...

Ok wow! I stayed there Sept. 29th 2005 for one night on the way through Fl. There was this backwoods very scary redneck couple in the room next to us who sat in fold up chairs outside there door the entire evening. We were in and out for food and beer and everytime, they were sitting there drinking and smoking. Nothing against rednecks but they were creapy! Anyway, the room smelled like they did, the front desk, did it exist? We also saw the police come to the hotel while we were there. Luckily we were only passing through. Bet is was rough staying there for an extended time.

it is even bettr situated than super 8. if you want to know proper detaisl abotu this place will be more than happy to let you know. we have bee here 2 nights so far and its fantastic.. are you coming as a holiday or part of a travell? with family?

As for teh super 8, yes it was as bad as it sounds, it was brought in full on the internet before hand, so didnt want to leave abrupptly because we kne that there would be all sorts of hassle and maybe not even get the money back so might as well put up with it.
But let me tell yo this when we where vey short on money and couldnt really do anything and we would go to the shop it was a very depressing though t and feeing to come back to the super 8 motel.

Glad the word is spreading about this place. I have never written a proper complaint about anythign in my whole life but this place really should be avoided like a plague ridden rat with S.T.D's
