Hey! Im just new to this so forgive me if im asking questions that seem old to a lot of u!
Im playing on backpacking through Europe for six weeks starting mid-august 07. I know this isnt the best time to go crowds wise but it works well with my uni timetable and the festivals im keen on!
Im going to be travelling with a flatate whos going to be in engalnd (his dad lives there) and maybe one other. The thing im currently most stuck on is the order in which to travel! If you can help or just have any ideas to throw in regarding where/when im going staying etc plz throw them my way!
As im flying from NZ il probably do a two day stopover in hong knog and from there im keen to visit:
England: London (bludging accomodation) and Bath (7days total)
Spain: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla and Bunol for La Tomatina mid-late august (14days) maybe also Gibraltar
Germany: Munich for Octoberfest
late september (5days) and Berlin (3days)
Belgium: Brugges incl. day trip to Brussels (3days)
Greece: Athens, then the islands not too sure which ones? heard Santorini& Myknos (not a chance of spelling that sorry) are overpriced? (4days)- BUT thinking this might be too far out of the way???
France: Paris (3days)
Holland: Amsterdam (3days)
I havent specified any of these days as specifically travelling yet cos i havent been sure of a route to take. I have currenlty dropped :
Denmark- copenhagen
Ireland- Dublin
Italy-
Portugal
Monaco
Scotland
Austria
Czech republic
Which also interested me but i'd rather not rush things!
