Yo Punks,
So what's the deal with pitching my tent in parks in Europe? Will I be hassled by the man? The reason I ask is because I'm.....ahem.....cheap! So therefore more time spent in the tent = more beer money. The logic is clear but not sure if it will play out as I hope.
Thanks for your input

So do I just ask around to find out? Or perhaps the tourism office could tell me?
Thanks

and make sure you have a tent you can pitch
a) in the dark
B) while drunk
c) in the rain
or any combination there of, it will make life a lot more pleasent for you in the long run.
i tend to try to get off the beaten path when picthing my tent, but it has been mostly luck up until this point

Sudz,
I will be trekking all over for 3 months. Basically as far as my legs and my wallet can take me.
I also plan on some time in Eastern Europe.
