I'm planning on, after college and making some cash, leaving America for good, and then backpacking Europe. I'm going to be a chef, so france seems like a good place to go. What i want to know is the general facts? Such as, how much is it per month? How do you get around? Where do you stay? Etc.... I'd love some feedback.
Leaving for good? Wow. Are you a trained chef? And, can you speak French?
Personally, I'd get a campervan to get around with, but you'll have to think of petrol costs. But it means that you don't have to pay for accomodation. You might have to shower and stuff at campsites though.
Or....live in hostels. hmm, thinking about it, I'd prefer to have a proper bed and a shower.
Check out jobs before you leave. Some hotels you might be able to get some work at, they sometimes even give you a room of theirs for you to live in.
