Hey Guys!
So, it's now June and I have no idea what to do with my summer! My plans keep changing and if I don't make a decision soon I won't be going anywhere. Originally I was supposed to go to Iceland for 3 months this summer, and then 2 weeks before I was supposed to go, the au pair agency that I signed up with called to inform me that I had to stay for longer than 3 months, which I couldn't do...so no more Iceland because there's no way I could afford to go there if I wasn't getting free room and board (and pay!). Then I decided to go to Peru, cause it's one of my top 5 countries I want to visit. However, I forgot about the amount of vaccinations I would need before going and the cost of them...$600 for rabies shots, that's what my plane ticket was going to cost! So I changed my mind again and decided to go to Europe and backpack for a month or two, but then I started thinking about Mexico and changed my mind again.
So I was certain that Cancun would be the place for me to go, and was ready to go buy my plane ticket and everything, when the au pair agency phones me and says they have a month long position in England for me if I want it. Yay! So I told them I would definately do it and they said ok, we'll just send you the information...and that was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard back from them. So now I don't know what to do...keep waiting and see if I can get the postion in England or just go to Mexico? I'm not good at making decisions, I'm always afraid I'll regret something. So, even though I know no one can actually tell me what to do, I just want some opinions I guess...
(On the positive side, this has forced me to research a lot of countries!)

Can I ask why you think you need rabies shots to go to Peru? Does Peru require that to let you in? Most doctors (and the U.S. CDC website) only recommend rabies shots if you are going to be handling animals or coming into close contact with them on a frequent basis. As a normal traveler, they are not generally required. You might want to check that again if that's the only thing holding you back. Good luck!!
