wow, i have been planning to travel with my buddy for almost a year, and last night we purchased our tickets and i'm so scared now, it's like im committed to going! Im SOOOOOO excited but nervous at the same time. We are flying into manchester, UK, then traveling for about 29 days. Anyone going to be over there
around july 12th to august 10th?

Welcome and congrats on taking the plunge. Where all do you plan to go? Check out the "Where ya going", "itinerary" and "meet up" forums to see who's going to be around when you are. And fire away with any questions you might have.

sounds like you'll have a blast, where are you planning on going or is it spur of the moment plans?

I hear ya! It's the same for me - when I buy the tickets that's when the trip becomes real in a way. However, the real freak out fest for me begins when I start packing (which is usually the night before, since I like to pack late).

Either way the time will fly for you and soon enough you'll be leaving "OMG - I'm leaving tomorrow" messages. So hang in there!
